"शीला मासी"
जब भी मैं हल्दीराम के रविन्द्र सदन के पास से गुज़रता तो मेरी आँखे हमेशा उस चहरे को तलाश करती जिसके बारे में फेसबुक और कई सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट पर मैंने पढ़ा था। यह चेहरा चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ था लेकिन मैं कभी भी उस शख्श को मिल नहीं सका। मुझे लगा यह भी उन हज़ारो पोस्ट की तरह है जो फेसबुक में लोग आकारण देते रहते है !
आज मैं फिर हल्दीराम के पास से गुज़र रहा था तो मुझे एक जाना पहचाना चेहरा नज़र आया ! अरे ये तो वही फेसबुक वाली मासी है!! मैं फ़ौरन उनके पास गया और देखा रास्ते पर एक प्लास्टिक शीट बिछा हुआ है उसपर तरह तरह के पापड और चिप्स रखे हुए है। मैंने पूछा मासी कितने का? बहुत ही हल्के आवाज और इशारो से उन्होंने मुझे बताया तीस रुपये। मैंने एक पैकेट उठाया और ५० रुपये का नोट पकड़ाया , बदले मैं मासी ने मुझे ७० रुपये लौटा दिए !! मैंने कहा " मासी मैंने ५० रुपये दिए है सौ नहीं! " और वह मुस्करा कर ५० रुपये वापस ले लिए।
ये थी शीला(घोष) मासी जो ८५ साल के उम्र में भी अपने स्वाभिमान के लिए पापड़ और चिप्स बेच कर गुज़ारा करती है। अपने इकलौते बेटे को एक कार दुर्घटना में खोने के बाद शीला मासी अपने गुज़ारे के लिए आत्मसम्मान से जीने का फैसला किया और पिछले ५ साल से वो पापड और चिप्स बेच कर अपना गुजारा चलाती है।
उम्र के इस पायदान में पहुचने के बाद ज्यादातर लोग अपनी बेबसी और हालात का रोना रोते है वही शीला मासी बड़ी बहादुरी से ज़िन्दगी की तकलीफ से लड़ते हुए आत्मसम्मान से अपनी ज़िन्दगी गुज़ार रही है। शीला मासी हम सबो के लिए एक आदर्श और प्रेरणा है और सही मायने वो हमारे लिए #madeofgreat है !

The story of a Legend in herself – that’s how I will describe it in a short sentence. Very well written with words and pictures which enhance the simplicity yet greatness of the person. Salutations and very happy for you to have got inspired and bringing out your best in life. I had read about her elsewhere too and I am very impressed.
ReplyDeleteMy answer: Tata is a name which any and every person can rely on for its honesty, commitment and perseverance. Lionel Messi is a legend who has carved his name in history books with total dedication to the game, simple living and improvisation which is seen with each game he plays. The association of Tata Motors and Lionel Messi as their Brand Ambassador will definitely give an edge to the Tata group over its competitors solely because the brand Ambassador also holds the same reputation of not letting his fans down ever, like Tata Motors who have given the best to the world over the decades. Its an exemplary association par excellence.
